We believe that today is a very important day for the Portuguese Language, since a protocol was signed between FLUL – Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, ADFLUL – Association for the Development of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon and the DLC – Distance Learning Consulting, Lda., Which aims to regulate a project for the diffusion, teaching and learning of our language throughout the world, especially in the countries that speak Mandarin, English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Russian and Romanian.
The three entities agreed to teach the Portuguese language through eLearning multimedia, interactive and responsive (computers, tablets and smartphones) in Levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, and some of these levels may be taught in bLearning, where attendees may be replaced by videoconference.
The signatory entities of this agreement will launch Level A1 as early as August 2018, because they are fully aware that the Portuguese Language is a valuable economic, financial and cultural asset and that Revolution 4.0, supported by the Internet and digital, will allow us to tear horizons never before experienced in spreading our language. For this reason, ADFLUL will immediately start preparing a large-scale campaign to disseminate the “My Portuguese” course through specialized centers around the world.
